About

Hello! Welcome to AliceMoyna, where I've been documenting my life since 2013.

If you've read any of my blog posts, it's highly likely you'll know some pretty intimate information about my thoughts and feelings, so this page here is to give you an overview of who I am, and why AliceMoyna.co.uk exists.

I started this blog under the name of 'Alice's Antics', from my temporary home in Italy aged 18. Initially, I wanted a way to document the goings-on in my life as I navigated my way through a gap year and would (hopefully) continue its upkeep as I went through university.

As it turns out, the upkeep of my blog became something I was very good at - far better, in fact, than regularly attending lectures. I continued blogging on Alice's Antics through to my graduation in 2017.

After a short stint in a London 9-5 at 21, I decided I wanted to see more of the world. By the end of 2017, I had quit my job and was on my way to Sydney, Australia.

Over the last five years, I've lived and worked in five different countries, steadily building a career in writing. What was once a pipe dream has somehow become my real life.

As I've grown up, so has my blog, and in June 2020 it was time for Alice'sAntics to hang up her hat. You can still find all of the good stuff on this site, but Alice Moyna is my mid-twenties answer to the 18-year-old Alice sat in her apartment in Parma, eating a family-portion gelato from the tub.

Currently, I'm in London. The place I ran away from at 21 has become my home, and I couldn't be happier. When I'm not writing, you'll find me baking, reading, attempting to run, and listening to questionable true crime podcasts.

Welcome to a website full of the honest musings of a young woman attempting to navigate her way through her twenties. You can expect honesty, anecdotes, and potentially a bit of swearing.

Feel free to have a wander around, and you can always reach out to me on Instagram, Twitter, or by email.

Love, Alice x
